Refreshing and low in sugar, this Sparkling Rose Mocktail is a healthy, non-alcoholic option to celebrate life's precious moments. The Schisandra Rose Elixir provides adaptogenic benefits, while fresh lemon juice boosts vitamin C. With some beautiful presentation, this pink mocktail is perfect for special occasions, a girls’ night, or happy hours.

Like my Belly Love Apple Cider Mocktail, this non-alcoholic drink is also made with a herbal supplement, but this time, I'm using a tonic herb made with the Schisandra Berry and rose.

This beautiful elixir has adaptogenic and anti-inflammatory benefits, making these homemade mocktails extra healthy and special. Paired with sparkling water, lemon juice, and a hint of sweetness, it becomes a real treat for any celebratory occasion, dry January, or midweek pick-me-up.

Ingredients To Make These Non-Alcoholic Spirits:

Here's what you need to make this low-sugar drink. I'll leave links to my favorite brand.

  • Schisandra Rose Elixir: This adaptogenic elixir supports hormone balance and adds floral and tart notes. It's a powerful formula containing so many health benefits, from supporting inflammation, mental performance, stamina, and endurance, to name a few. I truly believe in supporting and helping the body stay healthy and balanced, and Anima Mundy Apothecary is my go-to brand for adding herbal magic to fun homemade recipes.
  • Agave Nectar: A versatile sweetener of choice that dissolves easily, perfect for mocktails.
  • Fresh Lemon Juice: Provides a tangy brightness and a natural source of vitamin C for added health benefits.
  • Sparkling Water: This creates the effervescence that makes this drink feel like a non-alcoholic wine alternative. Get some extra to make my Tart Cherry Sleepy Time Mocktail.

See the recipe card for quantities.

How To Make Them:

It's so simple. These rose mocktails can be served in no time with a pitcher and a gentle stir. Let's have a look.

  • Prepare The Base: In a small pitcher or cocktail shaker, combine all the ingredients except for the sparkling water. Stir gently until the sweetener dissolves.
  • Assemble the Mocktails: Divide the mixture evenly between two tall glasses. Top with chilled sparkling water or soda water, leaving room for garnishes.
  • Garnish and Serve: Add a slice of lemon or a sprinkle of dried rose petals for an elegant touch. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Top Tips:

  • Chill Everything: Make sure your sparkling water and glasses are well-chilled for a crisp, refreshing drink.
  • Adjust Agave: Adjust sweetness to taste and start with less agave nectar if you prefer a less sweet drink or add more.
  • Use Quality Ingredients: High-quality elixirs from Anima Mundi and fresh citrus juice make all the difference in flavor.

Variations And Substitutions:

Here are a few variations that can work.

  • Add a Fruity Twist: Mix in a splash of orange juice or cranberry juice for added flavor.
  • Make It Different Fizzy: Replace sparkling water with club soda or rose lemonade for a unique twist.
  • Herbal Infusion: Steep hibiscus tea bags and add to the base for more depth.

Storage:

This mocktail is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store the base mixture (minus the sparkling water) in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Mix with sparkling water just before serving for the best fizz.

Equipment Needed:

  • Cocktail Shaker or Small Pitcher: For mixing.
  • Tall Glasses: For serving.
  • Large Spoon: For stirring.

Recipe FAQs:

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes! Prepare the base syrup ahead of time and store it in the fridge. Add sparkling water when you’re ready to serve.

Can I use rose water instead of the elixir?

While rose water adds floral notes, it lacks the adaptogenic benefits of Schisandra Rose Elixir. I recommend using both for a layered flavor!

What’s a good substitute for agave nectar?

Maple syrup or simple syrup works beautifully. Adjust the amount based on your sweetness preference.
