Juicing is one of my favorite ways to improve my overall health and/or target a specific health problem. I've made juices like my Gut Healthy Papaya Juice to target gut health, my Turmeric Ginger Glow Juice to target inflammation, and my Dandelion Green Detox Juice to target water retention and work as a natural diuretic. Now I wanted to create a green juice full of health benefits that support bloating and PMS symptoms.

Women's Green Juice Ingredients:

This juice recipe is great for relief against stomach cramps, stomach bloating, water retention, and more digestive issues, thanks to the nutrient-rich ingredients featured in this recipe. This de-bloat juice features a variety of produce that you can find at your local grocery store.

looking at the bloating juice with all the fresh ingredients around it
  • Pineapple - I love juicing pineapples. I use it in many of my juice recipes, like my Delicious Kale Beet Juice and my Amazing Sweet Bell Pepper Juice. Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which aids in digestion by breaking down proteins and reducing inflammation in the digestive tract. This can help alleviate bloating and discomfort associated with digestive issues. Additionally, pineapple is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which support overall women's health and may help alleviate PMS symptoms. The high amount of vitamin C found in pineapple juice helps support the immune system.
  • Fennel - This is the key ingredient to this juice for bloating. Fennel is well-known for its ability to relieve digestive issues such as bloating, gas, and indigestion. It contains compounds that relax the muscles in the gastrointestinal tract, promoting smooth digestion and reducing bloating. Fennel also has estrogen-like properties that may help regulate menstrual cycles and alleviate PMS symptoms. If you have any leftover, make sure to make my Pineapple Fennel Juice!
  • Kiwi - Kiwi is a rich source of fiber, which helps promote regular bowel movements and prevent constipation, a common cause of bloating. It also contains enzymes that aid in digestion and reduce inflammation in the digestive tract. Additionally, kiwi is high in vitamin C and other antioxidants, which support immune function and overall women's health.
  • Turmeric - Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin, which has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. These properties help reduce inflammation in the digestive tract, alleviate bloating, and support digestive health. Turmeric also has potential benefits for hormonal balance, which may help alleviate PMS symptoms.
  • Celery - Celery is a natural diuretic, meaning it helps increase urine production and reduce water retention, which can contribute to bloating. It also contains fiber and antioxidants that support digestive health and may help alleviate bloating and discomfort. Additionally, celery is rich in vitamins and minerals that support overall women's health. Celery juice has a high water content; therefore, it helps add volume to this juice and naturally hydrates the body.
  • Ginger - Ginger has long been used as a natural remedy for digestive issues such as bloating, nausea, and indigestion. It contains compounds that stimulate digestive enzymes, improve digestion, and reduce inflammation in the digestive tract, leading to reduced bloating and discomfort. Ginger also has analgesic properties that may help alleviate menstrual cramps and other PMS symptoms. Another great benefit of ginger is that it is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-viral, which means it fights the bad bacteria and viruses throughout your entire body.
  • Spinach - Spinach is rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals that support digestive health and reduce bloating. The fiber in spinach helps promote regular bowel movements and prevent constipation, while the vitamins and minerals support overall digestive function. Additionally, spinach is high in antioxidants, which help reduce inflammation and support women's health.

How To Make This Debloating Juice:

This tasty blend of fruits and vegetables is the perfect juice to incorporate into your daily routine. It's easy to make, affordable and packed full of essential nutrients. Here's how to make it.

  1. Preparation:
    • Wash all the fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Peel the pineapple, kiwis, turmeric, and ginger if desired.
    • Cut the pineapple, fennel, and celery into chunks.
  2. Juicing:
    • Place the fruits and vegetables in the juicer.
    • Turn the juicer on and allow the ingredients to juice.
  3. Straining (optional):
    • If you prefer a smoother juice, you can strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any pulp. However, keeping the pulp can provide extra fiber and nutrients, which can assist in weight loss and the digestive process.
  4. Serve:
    • Pour the green juice into glasses over ice and serve immediately.
    • Optionally, you can garnish with a slice of pineapple or a sprig of mint for a decorative touch.
  5. Enjoy:
    • Sip and enjoy your refreshing Women's Health Green Juice! Drink it as a part of your daily routine or whenever you need a boost of nutrients and hydration.

Hint: The taste of this juice can vary by the quality of the organic produce. Ensure that you are using ripe pineapples and kiwis for a sweeter taste.

Substitutions:

There are planting of substitutions that can be made to this juice for bloating. The good news is all these substitutions are easy!

  • Fruit - If you don't want to use pineapple for sweetness, you can use apples. This will make the juice slightly less sweet but still enjoyable.
  • Celery - If you are looking for another vegetable that has a lot of healthy fluids, you can use cucumber in place of celery. Cucumber will also support bloating relief because it is a natural diuretic and contains digestive enzymes.
  • Juicer - If you don't have the Kuvings AUTO10 Juicer, you can use any other juicer. Most other juicers will not result in the same high quality juice, but they will work.

If you have any questions about a particular substitution not listed, make sure to leave a comment, and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible!

Debloating Juice Variations:

There are so many ways that you can mix up this Debloating green juice. Here are some variations to try next time you make it!

  • Peppermint Juice - Adding peppermint leaves to this juice is a great way to better digestion and reduce bloating. Peppermint is great for a variety of bloating issues and boasts a multitude of health benefits.
  • Lemon Juice - You can add 1 lemon to this juice to provide the perfect citrus touch as well as detoxifying benefits.
  • Dandelion Greens - If you are looking for a juice that prevents water retention, you can add dandelion greens to this juice as well. Dandelion greens are one of my favorite greens to add to green juice because they are a natural diuretic, a gentle laxative, control blood sugar, and lower blood pressure.

Equipment:

To make this debloat juice, you'll need a cutting board, a knife, and glasses for serving, but the most important tool is your juicer.

I highly recommend the Kuving's AUTO10 Plus Cold Pressed Slow Juicer. It has completely changed the way I juice at home. I used to rarely make homemade juice, but now I make it weekly because this machine is so easy to use and clean, and the juice quality is incredible.

Why I Love the Kuving's AUTO10 Plus:

  • Hands-Free & Easy to Use: The extra-large hopper holds whole fruits and veggies, so there's very little prep required.
  • Quick Cleanup: It comes with cleaning tools that make rinsing and scrubbing super fast - the whole juicer cleans in about 5 minutes.
  • High-Quality Results: It's a cold-pressed slow juicer, meaning your juice stays nutrient-dense, flavorful, and fresh for days when stored properly.

If you juice often (or want to start), it's truly worth the investment. Your health is always the best thing to invest in.

If you're interested in investing in a Kuvings Juicer, you can always use my code: "NATURALVEGAN" for 10% off  (AKA $70 off the AUTO10Plus) at Kuvings.com.

As always, you can find all my go-to equipment on my Amazon storefront or my shop page.

Storage:

To store your Women's Juice for Bloating and maintain its freshness and nutritional value, follow these guidelines:

  1. Refrigeration: After preparing the juice, transfer any leftovers into a clean, airtight container. Refrigerate the juice promptly to slow down the oxidation process and preserve its nutrients. Ideally, store the juice in the refrigerator at temperatures below 40°F (4°C).
  2. Use Within 24-48 Hours: Freshly made juices are best consumed within 24 to 72 hours to ensure optimal flavor and nutritional content. As time passes, the juice may start to degrade and lose some of its nutrients after 72 hours. Therefore, aim to drink the juice as soon as possible after preparation.
  3. Avoid Exposure to Air: Air exposure can accelerate the oxidation of the juice, leading to a loss of nutrients and changes in flavor. Ensure that the container is tightly sealed to minimize air contact. Consider using a vacuum-sealed container or storing the juice in smaller portions to reduce air exposure when opening the container.
  4. Keep Away from Light: Light exposure can also degrade the quality of the juice over time. Store the juice in a dark or opaque container, or place it in the back of the refrigerator where it is less likely to be exposed to light.
  5. Shake Before Serving: Before consuming the stored juice, give it a gentle shake or stir to remix any settled solids and distribute the flavors evenly.
  6. Discard If Signs of Spoilage: If you notice any changes in color, texture, or odor, or if the juice develops an off taste, discard it immediately. These signs may indicate spoilage or bacterial growth, and consuming spoiled juice can lead to foodborne illness.

By following these storage tips, you can extend the shelf life of your Women's Juice for Bloating and continue to enjoy its refreshing and health-promoting benefits.

Top Tip:

Make sure to use the ripest and freshest ingredients when making homemade cold-pressed juices. This will guarantee the best flavor and most nutrient-dense juices.
